ChemVolt Global has partnered with the Government of Andhra Pradesh to establish a 5 GWh lithium-ion gigafactory, investing INR 2,500 crore. This facility aims to boost India's cell manufacturing capacity for energy storage and mobility, creating around 1,500 direct and over 4,000 indirect jobs, with operations expected to begin by Q3 2027 and reach full capacity by Q2 2029.
