Cheshire West and Chester companies in clean energy can apply for the Apprenticeship Support Programme to create up to 20 apprenticeships. Funded by the Department of Energy Security and Net Zero, the programme offers financial, recruitment, and networking support for businesses in energy production and carbon-intensive sectors.

Successful applicants can receive up to £10,000 for setup costs. This initiative follows the region's designation as a key growth region for clean energy and aligns with the Sustainable and Inclusive Economic Strategy for 2045.
