Chichester District Council will launch a food waste collection service in Spring 2026, beginning with household communications in February. Residents will receive a kitchen caddy and an outdoor bin, with collections occurring weekly as part of a staged rollout across the district. The collected food waste will be processed at an anaerobic digestion facility in Horsham to produce biogas and biofertilizers.
