China Launches Low-Orbit Internet Satellites in 2026 Space Mission

China successfully launched a group of low-orbit internet satellites on Tuesday night using a Long March 8A rocket from the Hainan International Commercial Aerospace Launch Center. This mission, the second of 2026, adds to China's growing network of over 140 satellites, enhancing its state-owned internet capabilities. The Long March 8A can deploy payloads up to 7 tons into sun-synchronous orbits at an altitude of 700 kilometers.
