China's first fully domestic 300-megawatt heavy-duty gas turbine has commenced operations at the Huadian Wangting Power Plant in Suzhou, part of a larger project that includes advanced gas and steam combined cycle units. This initiative is projected to generate 2.44 billion kilowatt-hours annually, supporting 2.3 million residents while significantly reducing coal consumption and carbon emissions.
