China is set to complete its first offshore platform for launching and recovering reusable liquid-fueled rockets at the Oriental Aerospace Port in Haiyang by February 2026. The facility aims to enhance the country's space capabilities and reduce launch costs, with trial operations expected around the Chinese New Year. This initiative is part of a broader strategy to bolster China's commercial space industry, which achieved 50 launches in 2025.
