On December 15, 2025, China's Ministry of Industry and Information Technology released Announcement No. 37, listing nine low-carbon hydrogen technologies in the "National Recommended Catalogue of Energy-Saving and Carbon-Reducing Technologies and Equipment in the Industrial and Information Technology Sector (2025 Edition)". The listed technologies include: 1) Electrolytic Water Hydrogen Production Equipment; 2) Alkaline Water Electrolysis Hydrogen Production Composite Membrane Technology; 3) Low-Temperature Ammonia Decomposition Hydrogen Production Unit; 4) Hydrogen Loop Cold Start Ice-Breaking Core Technology; 5) Anion Exchange Membrane Electrolysis for Hydrogen Production; 6) Gaseous Hydrogen Storage and Supply System for Unmanned Aerial Vehicles; 7) Small-Power Hydrogen Fuel Cell System; 8) 200 kW-Class Hydrogen Fuel Cell Power System; and 9) Large-Capacity Off-Grid Hydrogen Production Technology. These technologies are intended to enhance energy-saving and carbon-reduction efforts in the industry.
