A Chinese energy company has successfully tested the S2000 airborne wind energy system, achieving an altitude of 2,000 meters and delivering 385 kilowatt-hours to the grid. This innovative 3-megawatt system, designed for high-altitude power generation and optimized wind flow, aims to support off-grid applications and enhance wind farms. The company plans to establish a production base in Zhoushan, Zhejiang Province, with an annual output target of 200,000 linear meters by 2026, increasing to 800,000 by 2028.
