The City of Kimberley has achieved two significant milestones for its Wastewater Treatment Plant project, receiving registration under B.C.'s Municipal Wastewater Regulation and final funding approval. The building permit application has been submitted, with expected approval in late March, and construction is slated to begin in April 2026, aiming for full operation by 2028. The project is funded by the Government of Canada, the Province of British Columbia, and the City of Kimberley.
