Clean Energy Fuels Corp Breaks Ground on Renewable Natural Gas Production Facilities Across Four States

HYDROGEN

Clean Energy Fuels Corp has commenced construction on three renewable natural gas (RNG) production facilities in partnership with Maas Energy Works. These facilities, located across six dairies in South Dakota, Georgia, Florida, and New Mexico, are expected to produce approximately three million gallons of RNG annually.

The project aims to capture methane from 24,300 dairy cows and supply ultra-clean fuel to heavy-duty transportation fleets. With an estimated cost of $80 million, completion is projected for 2026, while Clean Energy retains rights to additional projects based on market conditions.
