STRATEGIC MINERALS
CleanTech Lithium's CEO Ignacio Mehech expressed optimism about obtaining the special operating contract (CEOL) for Laguna Verde, located in Atacama, Chile. The company owns 97.63% of the area, exceeding the 80% requirement.
With current lithium prices above $20,000 per ton, CleanTech plans to build an industrial-scale plant in Copiapó for lithium processing. They have invested $35 million in Chile, and the prefeasibility study for Laguna Verde is forthcoming. The company is also working with Cutfield Freeman & Company Limited to secure a financing partner.
