This achievement not only enhances oil recovery but also aligns with China's carbon peaking and neutrality goals, with cumulative injections now exceeding two million tons. The Junggar Basin has the potential to store up to two billion tons of CO2, showcasing China's commitment to developing effective carbon capture solutions.
