CO280 Solutions Inc., based in Vancouver, B.C., has been recognized in the 2026 Global Cleantech 100 for its advancements in carbon dioxide removal (CDR). The company has contracted over 4.3 million tonnes of permanent CDR and is developing more than 10 projects in collaboration with leading pulp and paper companies in North America.

These projects aim to capture and store biogenic CO2 using a method known as bioenergy with carbon capture and storage (BECCS), contributing to new revenue streams and job protection in the forestry sector. Four projects have reached the Pre-FEED and FEED stages, with final investment decisions expected from 2026 to 2028. CO280's initiatives are projected to deliver up to 7 million tonnes of durable CDR annually, positioning the company among the top five global suppliers by tonnes sold.
