Colusa Indian Energy is proposing the Columbia Basin Power Project in Quincy, Washington, to address energy shortages in Central Washington. The project aims to support industrial electricity needs and is being advanced in partnership with the Port of Quincy.

It features a hydrogen-capable natural gas system integrated with solar and battery technologies. Technical studies and permitting processes are expected to continue through 2026-2027.
