HYDROGEN
Residents living 75 meters from a proposed hydrogen production facility by Protium Green Hydrogen Supply in Stockton have expressed concerns about flooding and increased traffic. The consultation period has been extended to February 26.
Local officials, including Councillors Richard Eglington and Paul Weston, and MP Chris McDonald, have voiced worries about the facility's proximity to homes and its potential impacts. Northumbrian Water is collaborating with the Environment Agency to manage flood risks in the area.
