Construction has commenced on a £24 million co-living development, Hive, in Kelham Island, Sheffield. The project aims to add 100 housing units by spring 2027, featuring studio-style units, shared facilities, and ground-floor retail space.

Developed by Grantside and constructed by HBC Construction Limited, the building targets a BREEAM 'Excellent' rating and WiredScore Platinum certification, with solar panels for energy supply. The project supports Sheffield's goal of 20,000 new homes in the city centre over the next decade.
