Cosmo Oil Marketing, part of Cosmo Energy Holdings, is set to join a ship-to-ship biofuel supply initiative at Tokyo Port, led by NX Shoji. The project, part of the Tokyo Metropolitan Government's decarbonization efforts, will supply B24, a blend of heavy fuel oil and fatty acid methyl ester, to vessels. Scheduled to start this autumn, the initiative aims to reduce greenhouse gas emissions from shipping while testing low-carbon fuel supply chains, aligning with Tokyo's zero-emission goals.
