Crane Overturns Near Lancaster Wastewater Treatment Works During Delivery

A crane overturned on January 30 while being delivered to Lancaster Wastewater Treatment Works by a contractor for United Utilities. Lancashire County Council advised motorists to avoid the area. The crane remains in a field awaiting removal, but it does not block access or operations at the treatment facility, which is undergoing a £48 million upgrade.
