BIOFUELS
Cstar Petroleum is accelerating the construction of a refinery in Kribi, Cameroon, with a partial start-up now targeted for late 2026, two years earlier than planned. The facility will initially produce 10,000 barrels per day, addressing 22% of national diesel and gasoline demand, and is expected to create 2,000 direct and 5,000 indirect jobs while reducing fuel imports by 30%. The project, estimated at 115 billion CFA francs, aims to enhance Cameroon’s energy sovereignty and generate significant annual savings and export revenue.
