The Meagher Court housing development in Cumnock starts its retrofit as part of the £17M CoRE project, funded by the UK Government and East Ayrshire Council. This initiative aims to enhance energy efficiency and reduce fuel poverty through various upgrades, including a solar PV array and ground source heat pumps. The project, part of the Ayrshire Growth Deal, will be executed in three phases, with completion expected by Summer 2027.
