D-Orbit Raises $53M in Series D Funding for Strategic Acquisitions

D-Orbit has secured $53 million in Series D funding, led by Azimut Group, to enhance its strategic mergers and acquisitions strategy. This follows a previous $168 million raised in Series C, as the company aims to bolster its orbit service activities and expand its presence in the U.S. market, following its acquisition of Italian startup Planetek in 2025.
