DACLab Launches Innovative Direct Air Capture System, Kelvin, Targeting E-Fuels and Carbon Sequestration

HYDROGENCARBON CAPTURE

DACLab has unveiled its first commercial product, Kelvin, a modular direct air capture (DAC) system. Backed by $3 million in funding from private investors, Kelvin features a patented low-temperature vacuum swing adsorption process that reduces energy consumption by approximately 50%. Designed for mass production, it aims to support projects in synthetic fuel production and geological carbon sequestration, with an initial cost of $500 per ton of captured CO2, potentially decreasing to $250 per ton at scale without government subsidies.
