Danantara is advancing a dimethyl ether (DME) project as an alternative to LPG, supported by Indonesia's Ministry of Energy. The project, part of 18 priority initiatives, will collaborate with PT Bukit Asam Tbk (PTBA) for coal supply.

However, DME's groundbreaking will not occur on the same day as other projects due to the need for further technology assessments.
