Danske Commodities has secured a ten-year optimization agreement for the 400MWh Windyhill Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) near Glasgow. This deal represents the company's largest battery storage project to date and will leverage its automated algorithmic setup to enhance returns in wholesale and ancillary markets.

The Windyhill project, developed by Revera Energy, features a capacity of 200MW/400MWh. Danske Commodities aims to expand its flexible asset portfolio in the UK, responding to increased demand for managing flexible services.
