Delhi Government Launches Comprehensive Air Pollution Control Plan by 2028

The Delhi government has unveiled a comprehensive air pollution control plan aimed at reducing pollution and cleaning the Yamuna by 2028. Key initiatives include the installation of misting systems at 62 hotspots, enhanced waste management through waste-to-energy facilities, and the expansion of the Delhi Metro to Phase-5, supported by increased funding for the Municipal Corporation of Delhi. The plan also involves establishing biogas plants and implementing an app-based debris management system, with collaboration from the Union Environment Minister and neighboring states.
