Dunbia, a division of Dawn Meats, has initiated a project with nine UK beef and sheep farmers aimed at reducing carbon emissions on farms. The initiative will test various management practices, including grazing rotations and multispecies swards, while providing expert advice for evidence-based decision-making.

This is part of the Plan Four Zero Activate program, which has assessed carbon footprints of over 1,350 UK farms. Dunbia, in collaboration with the Soil Association Exchange, aims to enhance sustainability and has committed at least €100m to its strategy by 2030.
