eAgronom Develops Automated Solutions for Farmers' Carbon Management in Estonia
eAgronom, founded by a computer science student from a farming background, provides cloud-based tools for farmers to manage operations, report to governments, and track GHG emissions. Currently, 3,500 farmers use eAgronom to manage over 2.5 million hectares.
The company started when the founder developed a tool for his father's farm after software issues arose. Key milestones include verified carbon credits, partnerships with Swedbank and Mondelēz, and plans for automation in data collection, aiming to enhance accuracy while reducing farmers' workload. eAgronom has raised approximately €20 million, with a Series B round expected to raise €15-20 million. The total addressable market for high-integrity agricultural carbon credits is projected to be a multi-billion-euro market in Europe.
