EDENA Capital Secures $100M to Launch Digital Securities Exchanges in Indonesia and Egypt
EDENA Capital Partners has raised $100 million from GEM to develop digital securities infrastructure in emerging markets, specifically in Indonesia and Egypt. The funding will facilitate the launch of Security Token Offering (STO) exchanges, enabling the trading of tokenized assets such as real estate, carbon credits, corporate equity, bonds, and commodities.
The Indonesia STO exchange is expected to launch in Q1 2026, with Egypt following later that year. EDENA aims to target 20 to 30 STOs in these markets next year and plans to operate in over 30 countries with more than $10 billion in tokenized assets by 2030. This investment will also support the acquisition of carbon credit projects and enhance platform liquidity through partnerships with BEK Group, UI Networks, and Group KS.
