Edge Mode has secured power supply and land rights for five AI data centers in Spain, boasting a total capacity of over 1.5 GW, with construction set to begin in 2027. The project, supported by solar energy and large battery storage systems, will feature modular data centers with 10 MW IT capacity each, although recent updates indicate a shift towards gas-based power with optional renewable integration. Additionally, Edge Mode plans to expand solar assets and battery storage to achieve a total of 878 MW at its Córdoba and Cáceres sites.
