The Egyptian Cabinet has approved the allocation of 251.73 acres in the Red Sea Governorate for green hydrogen production, including land for a marine pier and electricity transmission. This initiative supports Egypt's National Low-Carbon Hydrogen Strategy, which aims for an annual production of 5.8 million metric tons of green hydrogen and seeks to capture a 5-8% share of the global hydrogen market by 2040, attracting $60 billion in investments.
