VE Commercial Vehicles (VEVC), a joint venture of Volvo Group and Eicher Motors, has announced price reductions of up to Rs 6 lakh across its truck and bus portfolio, effective September 22. This follows the GST Council's decision to lower the tax on diesel, CNG, and LNG commercial vehicles from 28% to 18%. The price cuts are expected to reduce acquisition costs for buyers and stimulate demand in the commercial vehicle sector, benefiting logistics and public transport.
