Electrent Energy Expands into Hybrid Inverters and EV Batteries Amid Growing Lithium Demand

Indian startup Electrent Energy plans to enter hybrid solar inverters and electric two-wheeler batteries as lithium demand rises. The company aims to launch hybrid inverters from 1 kW to 50 kW by the end of 2023, and will introduce lithium-ion batteries for two-wheelers soon. Electrent has installed about 18-19 MW of battery capacity in various projects and is adapting to government policies favoring hybrid systems.
