Elmya Initiates Construction on 30MWp Solar PV and 40MWh BESS in Kinglassie, Scotland

ENERGY STORAGE

Elmya has begun construction on a 30MWp solar PV plant with a 20MW/40MWh battery energy storage system in Kinglassie, Scotland. This project will provide grid stability services and optimize energy dispatch.

It is the first project by Elmya Energy in the UK, constructed by Elmya EPC, in partnership with Scottish Power Energy Networks. The project supports Scotland's renewable energy goals and demonstrates the viability of solar developments in the region.
