Elyse Energy has secured approximately €120 million in financing from PGGM, Hy24, BPI France, and Mirova to develop e-methanol and sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) projects in France and the Iberian Peninsula. This investment reflects the growing demand for sustainable fuels amid increasing regulatory pressures and consumer expectations for reduced greenhouse gas emissions. However, significant additional investment and legislative support are required to meet projected growth, alongside the establishment of efficient logistics to ensure smooth production and distribution.
