Emergency crews responded to an incident at Buckley Space Force Base on Monday morning, establishing a 1,000-foot safety perimeter around Building 510. The Aurora Police Department closed 6th Avenue in both directions, advising alternate routes and cautioning personnel to avoid the area. Delays are expected at the 6th Avenue Gate, with access restrictions in place at the Large Vehicle Inspection Point.
