Encounter Resources and South32 are set to initiate a substantial drilling program at the Jessica copper project in Northern Territory. The joint venture plans 4,000 metres of RC drilling and 2,000 metres of diamond drilling targeting multiple sites identified from previous geophysical surveys.

They also expanded the farm-in agreement to include an additional 685 sq. km of land. Drilling is expected to start in Q2 2026, following the final design in Q1 2026, with a regional MT survey planned for Q3 2026.
