Enduralock Completes Testing for OneLink™ Connector at Arkisys' ISAM Facility
Enduralock has completed form, fit, and function testing of its OneLink™ satellite docking connector at Arkisys' 1G robotic ground test facility for In-space Servicing, Assembly, and Manufacturing (ISAM). The tests validated the connector's soft docking and self-alignment capabilities in a simulated zero-gravity environment, confirming the reliability of its mechanical latching systems.
A prototype of the female connector was tested with an Arkisys Port, while the male connector was mounted on a robotic arm by Motiv Space Systems. The male half is set to launch on the first Arkisys Cutter satellite in early 2027, followed by the female half on the Arkisys Port Module in mid-2028.
This partnership aims to create a standardized interface for payload integration, supporting growth in the ISAM market through reliable logistics and connections. Enduralock's technologies also include the OneCatch mechanism for satellite life extension and the OneBuild robotic end effector for autonomous assembly in orbit.
