Energy Vault Holdings, Inc. has commenced construction on the SOSA Energy Center, a 150 MW battery storage facility in Madison County, Texas, which is part of its Asset Vault initiative. Funded by a $300 million equity commitment from Orion Infrastructure Capital, the facility is expected to begin operations in Q2 2027 and will utilize B-VAULT™ DC technology to improve grid stabilization and renewable energy integration. The project is projected to generate approximately $350 million in total revenue during its operational life.
