Epic Energy Limited and REFNIC are partnering to develop a 10 MWh lithium-ion battery recycling plant in Wada, Maharashtra, through their joint venture, Swachchha Urja Nirman LLP. The facility will include a shredding plant with a capacity of 500 kg per hour and a second-life battery assembly line, aimed at improving the recycling and repurposing of end-of-life lithium-ion batteries. This initiative follows a Technology Transfer Agreement with the Centre for Materials for Electronics Technology to enhance battery recycling efforts in India.
