EQT and Blackstone Infrastructure have agreed to acquire Urbaser, a Spain-based waste management firm, from Platinum Equity. Both firms will own 50% of Urbaser and jointly manage it, focusing on growth in key markets and enhancing sustainable waste solutions.

The transaction is subject to customary approvals. EQT has invested over €7 billion in Spain since 2015.
