Equinor ASA and Shell PLC have appointed Neil McCulloch and Nicoletta Giadrossi to lead their joint venture, Adura, in the UK North Sea. The venture aims to become the largest independent producer in the region, combining assets from both companies.

Regulatory approvals are pending, with operations expected to commence by the end of 2025. McCulloch brings over 30 years of energy leadership experience, while Giadrossi has extensive expertise in energy and infrastructure. Adura will include significant offshore stakes, while both companies retain certain assets.
