Diotech OÜ and Transcom AS will start building a 100 MW / 200 MWh battery energy storage system in Tsirguliina, Valga County, in February 2026. The Zirgu project, the largest Estonian capital-based battery park, aims to stabilize the electricity market and address price volatility in Estonia and the Baltic region. The project is expected to be completed by March 2027 and could expand to 200 MW and 800 MWh based on market demand.
