EU Funding Secured for Green Hydrogen Project in Tyrol by Austrian, French, and German Consortium

HYDROGEN

The consortium of Green Hydrogen Development & Investment (Austria), Adele Hydrogen (France), and RCT GH (Germany) has applied for EU funding to establish an electrolysis plant in Tyrol to produce green hydrogen. The project aims to generate 500 tons of green hydrogen annually, reducing CO2 emissions by over 4,000 tons, with competitive pricing compared to conventional hydrogen.

The plant will utilize advanced alkaline electrolysis technology and provide balancing power for the grid. Tyrolean Economic Affairs Minister Mario Gerber supports the initiative for its role in industrial decarbonization.
