The European Commission has launched the offtaker phase of its Hydrogen Mechanism after receiving over 260 project responses, inviting companies to express interest in purchasing green hydrogen until March 20, 2026. This initiative aims to align supply and demand for raw materials, enhancing the energy system's cleanliness, security, and affordability, despite current limitations in demand due to high production costs.
