The European Agroforestry Federation (EURAF) is calling for policy coherence to enhance agroforestry's role in carbon farming, as EU draft methodologies are released. EURAF emphasizes alignment with existing CAP and LULUCF definitions and the importance of clear definitions for agroforestry to reduce administrative burdens.

The federation also highlights the need to recognize early adopters of sustainable practices. EURAF is involved in the Carbon Farming Med project, which aims to develop an IT platform to support a Mediterranean carbon credit market.
