The 11th session of the IMO Sub-Committee on Carriage of Cargoes and Containers (CCC 11), held from September 8-12, 2025, concluded with the finalization of interim guidelines for hydrogen and ammonia as fuels, along with recommendations for liquefied hydrogen transport. A working plan was established to address container loss at sea, and amendments were made to various codes related to alternative fuels. Additionally, revisions were proposed for guidelines on methyl ethyl alcohol and fuel cell safety, with several items marked as high priority for upcoming sessions.
