Finning UK & Ireland has successfully completed an overhaul of two of the three combined heat and power (CHP) gensets at Shropshire Energy UK's anaerobic digestion facility near Ely, Cambridgeshire. The 3 MW plant converts energy crops and vegetable waste into biogas, which powers CHP units that generate low-carbon electricity and heat for mushroom cultivation.

Following over 90,000 operational hours since their last rebuild in 2021, the units underwent significant maintenance to ensure reliability. Finning continues to provide ongoing support through a flexible service contract.
