FORVIA and H2 Energy are enhancing their partnership to advance hydrogen mobility by scaling manufacturing of Multiple Element Gas Container (MEGC) units. FORVIA will supply 38MPa hydrogen composite type III tanks and take on the role of manufacturing partner for complete MEGC assembly.

The MEGC solution has received ADR certification, meeting European safety standards for hydrogen transport, and incorporates FORVIA's TPED-certified hydrogen composite cylinders. Production is set to start at the end of 2025.

H2 Energy operates a hydrogen ecosystem in Switzerland with over 30 MEGC containers supplying green hydrogen to 18 filling stations, supporting Hyundai's heavy-duty vehicle fleet and other customers. This collaboration aims to enhance logistical efficiency and accelerate the development of sustainable hydrogen ecosystems.
