Fusion Fuel Green Htoo has entered a heads of terms agreement with Alien Energy to develop a biomass-powered steam energy project in South Africa, aiming to replace fossil fuel systems at a dairy processing facility. The company will hold a 51% stake, investing ZAR 10 million, and anticipates generating recurring revenues and carbon credits.

Despite facing financial challenges, including stagnant revenues and negative margins, Fusion Fuel is positioning itself for potential growth within the renewable energy sector. The project is set to close by October 1, 2025, with commissioning expected by year-end.
