Future Biogas Launches Carbon Capture Initiative to Supply UK Data Centers with Renewable Energy

HYDROGENCARBON CAPTURE

Future Biogas has announced the launch of carbon dioxide capture and utilization at its Moor Bioenergy facility in Lincolnshire, aiming to produce carbon-negative biomethane. This initiative addresses the growing energy demands of UK data centers, which face lengthy grid connection delays.

By providing a storable and dispatchable energy source, the company positions biomethane as a viable alternative for data centers, enabling faster decarbonization and enhancing energy security. Future Biogas plans to expand carbon capture across its sites and eventually sequester carbon offshore.
